Didn't Know Turning Two Was So Much Fun!

Little "C". Everytime I meet him I know I am in for a good time. The first time we met was last year at his one year shoot and my oh my did I have a good time. He wore me out then and he wore me out this time around but it was way worth it! I tell you what, if turning two is THIS much fun, I am willing to get into a time traveling machine to do it all over again.

Thanks Mr. "C" for such a rowdy good time and thanks mom and dad for giving s yet another play date!

Looky who's turning 1!!

I have had a slew of 1 year olds lately and this one here takes the cake...LITERALLY! I always have fun photographing little "J" and this time I just knew I was going to wear...him...out! But HA, he is walking now and this old lady just couldn't keep up. "J" threw me for a loop and I must say I..GOT..SERVED and you know what, it was all worth it. Happy 1st birthday Mommy and Daddy. Thanks for allowing me to capture this treasured moment once again in your lives. Can't wait to come to VA Beach to catch him at 2 chasing seagulls!

From photographer to Auntie!

Today I had the most wonderful playdate with this beautiful little boy of 18 months.  Little "C" welcomed me with open arms.  It was love at first sight. The moment we started he ran up to me gave me a big hug and I knew from that moment we were going to have a great time!  We played, blew bubbles, chased one another it was great.  Mom was such a trooper just giving us the freedom to bond and it was great. I am officially Auntie Tosha!  So as I was uploading my card I couldn't help but to post a few sneak peeks from my play date with little "C".  More to come mom!!!

Busy Bee

This shoot had to be the most energetic shoot I've ever had.  From one end of the yard to the next.  Mom kept trying to stop him but I said "Let Him Go, trust me it makes for a great shoot".  This little cutie is a true toddler and is ready for the world.  Thanks for trusting me Mom and allowing us to do our thing.  Thanks also for traveling so far and letting me do this shoot.  Enjoy.

Tough Little Boy!

Yet another one year old play date who gave me a run for my money!!  He was ready to go from the moment we met.  Showing me all his toys and cute moves.  Little Myles was a ham.  Even when he cried he smiled.  We had a lot of fun together and decided to invite the entire family to join in including Cody the cute little dog. I tell you little Myles enjoyed every moment of this shoot.  From the toys, to the swings at the playground to the bubbles. This little boy can show you what enjoying the little things in  life really  means.

Hagans family, thanks so much for inviting me into a small part of your fun filled family life.   I hope it was worth the wait.

Who's That Guy?

Ok, this may be a little corny and I may be the only one that knows this, but in the late 80's there was a part 2 to Grease. Yes! Grease 2 was my FAVORITE movie at the time. Of course it was a musical and I knew every, and I mean every song (still do). One which was called "Who's That Guy". The movie was about "Michael" who was from England was a geek and was in love with "Stephanie" the leader of the "Pink Ladies" who was played by the never aging Michelle Pfeiffer. Anyway, to win her heart he learned how to ride a motorcycle and was this very cool guy who no one new his identity because of his helmet. Why am I telling you all of this. Yesterday I had over my very good friend "L's" two sons. The youngest had asked "Can we go dirt bike riding?" I explained to him all that was entailed with going dirt bike riding and why we could not do it today but the next time we go I will be sure to take him along. A few minutes went by and I didn't hear him. Those of us with boys understand this statement very well. So I went into the garage, low and behold "little P" fully dressed in dirt bike gear from head to toe. Instantly, my first thought was Michelle Pfeiffer singing "Who's That Guy" LOL! I got my camera (of course) and decided to document this event just for you "L" because you couldn't be there. I would need all day to express how much fun this delightful little guy is. He reminds me so much of my son at his age. Always entertaining, never a dull moment. Thank you so much "L" for allowing your 2 little guys to come over and spend the day with us we had so much fun! Also, thanks for being a great friend, it seems like we've know each other forever. Can't wait for FOOTBALL! TTYL!

Who let the dog out!

Although this is not an actual "child", this is SOMEone's kid!  Aaren is the kid of my friend Nicole and I wanted to see how different it is to shoot a dog from shooting kids so we went on a little walk.  Couldn't be that much different right. They both do what they want to do no matter whether you're trying to get them to sit still and smile so you really just have to let them go and do them.  That is exactly what Aaren did.  She is such a shutter bug.  She did things that her mommy said she never does and all for me.  I mean that is what kids usually do anyway when they get around me and my camera...they totally turn it up a notch because they know they are going to be stars!  So enjoy this episode about the kid called Aaren (yes, she is a girl!). Don't worry friends...we will not run off and become pet photos r us or anything but I will say Aaren was a lot of fun..and so were you Nicole!

1ST Birthday Fun with Baby "C"!

I had such a ball with this little one year old.  He was a little bundle of energy showing all his new 1 year old tricks.  Running, climbing stairs, peeking, hiding!  It was so much fun.  As soon as I hit the door he was all smiles and giggles.  We formed an instant connection.  Then we travelled down the street to the park where Superman started to loose some of his cryptonite.  Seems like I wore my little man out at the house but he stil gave me the cutest expressions to make you just wanna eat 'em up. Thanks mom and dad for allowing me some fun time with your little one.  You all were a true pleasure indeed. Not to mention the scrumptious cheescake at the end.  Yum Yum Yum.  What a way to end a session.

Photo shoot..or play date!

I had so much fun with this family.  Little "D" was my best friend from jump street.  The moment we met I felt we had a bond.  He was getting in his car and taking me to Target to buy me dresses and shoes!  Then there's sweet little "K"! She would not let go of mommy's leg..but that didn't last long.  Till she was chasing after her brother and climbing over everything she could. Mom was so laid back and just let us have fun in the park.  I tell you though little "D" gave me a run for my money!  That child has limitless energy.  I really enjoyed our photo session which turned into a play date for me.  I had so much fun with them!

Thanks mom for allowing them to be roam free and be themselves! P.S and it didn't hurt that they were the fliest kids on the playground either!
